In Loving Memory of Flirtin' To Win (AKA "Frenchie")

March 27, 2011 – June 12, 2026

With profound sadness and immense gratitude for the years we were blessed to share with her, we announce the passing of our beloved mare, affectionately known to all as "Frenchie." Born on March 27, 2011, at Bridlewood Farm in Fayetteville, Tennessee, Frenchie was humanely laid to rest on the farm she called home on June 12, 2026, due to complications from foaling.

Frenchie was extraordinary from the very beginning. As a yearling in 2012, she captured the TWHBEA National Futurity Championship with Chris Richards at the lead, offering the first glimpse of the remarkable career and legacy that would follow.

A two-time World Champion producer, Frenchie achieved one of the highest honors in the Tennessee Walking Horse industry through her exceptional offspring. In 2023, she earned a World Championship in the Mare & Foal class with Karen McGee and Lisa Teel at the leads of Flirtin' To Win and Just A Flirtin'. She repeated that extraordinary accomplishment in 2024 with Beverly Carter and Lisa Teel at the leads of Flirtin' To Win and Cold Justice LL, securing her place among the truly elite broodmares of her generation.

Frenchie's greatest contribution, however, was not measured solely by ribbons or titles, but by the remarkable horses she brought into the world. She proudly produced several successful show horses, including Jose's Premier, I'm Stormin Norman, World Champion Just A Flirtin', and World Champion Cold Justice LL. Through them, and through the generations that will follow, her legacy will continue to inspire.

To those who knew and loved her, she was simply "Frenchie"—a mare with tremendous heart, grace, intelligence, and an unmistakable spirit. She touched countless lives and created memories that will be cherished forever.

Even in her passing, Frenchie left us with one final and precious gift: a beautiful filly by Marty McFly, whom we have lovingly named Flirtin' To Win Again. Through this special filly, a piece of Frenchie's spirit lives on, offering comfort and hope to all who mourn her loss.

While our hearts are broken, we remain deeply thankful for every moment we shared with Frenchie. Her impact on our lives, our farm, and the Tennessee Walking Horse community can never be measured. She was one of a kind, and she will be missed beyond words.

Run free, sweet Frenchie. Your legacy, your love, and your spirit will forever remain in our hearts.
