Obituary – Bobby Frank Mulvey

Bobby Frank Mulvey, age 88, of Shelbyville, TN, passed peacefully from this life on January 1, 2026, at her home.
She was born on August 22, 1937, in Birmingham, AL, to the late Frank Clyde and Bobbie Aders Sansing. She is survived by numerous extended family members.
Bobby’s life was centered around providing special care to colts in need. She took great pride in helping them grow strong, healthy, and ready for a good life. Among her many accomplishments, she was especially proud of raising “The Black Night Shade”, who went on to become a World Grand Champion Walking Horse.
Bobby chose cremation with no public services to be held. Doak-Howell Funeral Home is serving the family.

SHELBYVILLE, Tenn. – The traditional Stick Horse class commenced at 6:40 on Saturday evening, sponsored by Sugar Creek Farms and Creekview Farms. Steve Buttleman played the Kentucky Derby theme to welcome everyone. Everyone got a blue ribbon and a Purity ice cream coupon for participating. It is a celebration of freedom and those who fought hard to maintain that freedom.
